Brad Cook


Brad has had a passion for real estate since his early childhood. While spending his teenage years on both the East and West coasts, the one constant in his life was his intrigue of real estate that ranged from new and modern California coastal properties in the West, to the timeless and historic southern charms in the East. Brad’s transition into real estate immediately after his studies of business in college was of no surprise to anyone who knew him, as the real estate industry has always been his natural fit.

As a real estate veteran of 14 years, Brad spent his early professional years growing his first real estate company, Salt Creek Financial, which specialized as a full service real estate company in both the financing and the repositioning of real estate assets. Through his continuous work with various banks, lenders, and real estate professionals, Brad quickly began nourishing deep-rooted relationships with firms and individuals who would prove to be key to the next chapter in his profession.

Vintage Capital is the result of 33 years of experience between Brad and his co- founding partner Joshua Hunter. Brad and Josh spent 18 of those years working together, beginning as co-founders of Genova Capital, which to date has acquired or developed more than 250 million dollars in real estate. Their experience together over the past decade has laid the foundation of what is now Vintage Capital. Their hands-on experience has provided them great knowledge and expertise that stems across all asset classes which includes finance, acquisition, disposition, property rehab, ground up construction & development, land entitlement, raising investment capital and fund management.

Brad sources new private equity and manages investor relations through regular communication, reporting, and full transparency. He also works closely with real estate professionals, developers and borrowers to acquire new real estate assets for the company and plays a vital role in the underwriting process of both real estate evaluations and the underwriting of potential borrowers.

In his free time Brad enjoys nothing more than spending time with his wife of 16 years and their children on the golf course, sandy beach, or just a relaxing evening at home creating a homemade meal in the kitchen, or smoking meats on Brad’s favorite Christmas gift ever, his Big Green Egg.

Brad holds a bachelor’s degree in business management from Weber State University and is a licensed real estate broker.
